[UPI News] – ANKARA, Turkey, July 26 (UPI) — Turkish government officials say terror groups may be planning a series of suicide attacks across Turkey, including in Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir.Turkey has strengthened security in its border provinces, particularly those that neighbor Syria, to counter possible terrorist attacks by members of the Revolutionary People’s Liberation Party/Front, known by the acronym DHKP/C, an intelligence source told Today’s Zaman.National police units have been put on high alert over the possible attacks.
